The Quest is St. Mary Church’s youth group. It is open to grades 7-12.

Quest is free, but we ask each family to provide dinner once during the year.

Youth Ministry at St. Mary Church provides a safe and fun setting where teens can learn, play, and build relationships between themselves, adult leaders and, via the Church, Jesus. Our program is called The Quest, which encompasses teens from 7th through 12th grades. We minister to them through the Youth Mass, weekly meetings following the Mass, and other activities. We bring to life, and to their lives, the Faith that has been handed down to us, providing a weekly experience that transcends the traditional faith formation program by using their lives as our textbooks and the world they live in as our classroom. We provide opportunities for the teens to live their faith through their service, worship and play. With the Mass as our nucleus, we provide service opportunities both within our local community and beyond. We use multimedia and secular sources, such as movies and music, to bring a stronger understanding of the Faith to them. We provide an outlet for their social needs, primarily after the Mass in Our Space, but also through activities during the meetings, as well as with social events such as bowling, golfing, theme parks and parties. We give them a place of belonging in the Parish Community, something they can call their own. In the words of Matthew Kelly, we work to help them become “the best version of themselves.”
