Liturgy is the Church's publis worship, including all the rituals and ceremonies by which the Church expresses her worship of God. The celebration of the liturgy involves not only the actions of the sacred ministries, but all who are members incorporated in the mystical Body of Christ.
The purpose of the Liturgy is threefold:
More then an intellectual exercise, the liturgy is an act of the whole person involving one's intellect, senses and emotions. Litugy is also an aesthetic expression of teh love of God.
